A sustainable racetrack is one that is able to engage the public on a regular basis. This means providing educational opportunities and programming that will introduce new people to the sport, while also keeping existing fans engaged.
The ability of our community to maintain its social structures and values over time is essential. We rely on the support of our community to keep our gates open and to continue providing quality experiences both on and off the track.
The ARDC is working to increase awareness of the importance of sustainability among our guests. We can do this through educational programs, signage, and other outreach efforts.
We can also work to engage our community in education and sustainability initiatives, from recycling programs or energy-efficiency efforts to involving new generations of fans in racing, education, engineering and volunteering.
By working together, we can ensure that our racetrack is socially sustainable now and into the future.
